Pastors Donnie and Nancy Thomas have been Senior Pastors of Cody PHC since March, 2007. Their vision is to broaden the borders of Cody PHC and its ministries to be an effective soul winning, discipling church, releasing workers into the Kingdom for the glory of God.

About Pastor Donnie…

Pastor Donnie was born into a Christian home to godly parents as well as parents who were pastors over 40 years. They instilled in him to know and believe in Christ and to pursue God’s will for his life by godly example. Pastor Donnie was saved at age 10 years old in youth camp and received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost and his call to preach at age 11 years old. Pastor Donnie has one sibling, Wayne.   Pastor Donnie has experienced the miracle working power of Christ thru healing on numerous occasions. At the time of birth he was growing ill with numerous complications, weighing in at less than 2lbs with little hope of survival. The doctors informed his parents if he did survive he would be in a vegetable state throughout life, not being able to speak above a whisper. But God came upon the scene and he survived by the miracle working power of the Lord. God brought him to a state of health as well as a strong influential voice when ministering both in Word and song. He often chuckles in giving his testimony and expresses, “I’d like to meet those doctors today.”  At age 13, Pastor Donnie was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Doctors ran numerous tests informing his parents once again the odds of survival and leading a normal life. Their decision was to do surgery for survival.  The saints and his family begin to pray. After weeks of hospital stays and testing, they ran test again to prepare for surgery. To the doctor’s amazement (but not God’s), they found absolutely no tumor. They canceled the surgery, but continued to run tests in amazement for the next several years. He continues today in God’s healing power. Pastor Donnie shares, “I have many opportunities to share with others in the same situation and witness to doctors who ask questions in amazement.”  Pastor Donnie continued along side his father in ministry as his associate pastor and doing evangelistic work.  In May 1990 he met his wife, Nancy, asking her to marry him just three weeks later. They were married on March 2, 1991.  Pastor Donnie is an ordained minister through the IPHC and has served as youth and associate pastor prior to serving as a Senior Pastor for the past 16 years. He celebrated 20 years of fulltime ministry in 2007.

About Pastor Nancy...

Pastor Nancy was raised in a Christian home with godly parents, setting the example of Christ in all things. Most of all they raised her to know a friend and Savior in Jesus Christ, instilling in her His Word thru family devotions and making it a mandate to attend church. They taught her of Christ’s promises and to have continued faith that He will work on her behalf. She possesses a rich “Pentecostal” heritage, with several family members being Pentecostal or IPHC ministers.   Pastor Nancy was saved at eight years old in a youthcamp service. She received the baptism of the Holy Spirit in a youth revival at her home church at age 11. She knew God had a calling and purpose for her life at age 13 years old as God ministered to her once again in a youthcamp service.  Pastor Nancy has always been involved in church ministries throughout her teen and adult years serving as youth minister, in various music ministries and other ministries of the church as well as serving along side her husband the past 18 years. God has gifted her as a musician and singer. She has ministered in speaking engagements for Women’s Conferences and other ministry opportunities. She has served on a state level Women’s Ministries Boards.  Pastor Nancy assist her husband in the ministries of the church at Cody PHC. She states, “I always prayed for a mate with a heart after God and His work, and God gave me the desire of my heart. I cherish our marriage covenant with everything within me. He is not only my partner in life and ministry, but my best friend in life. “ Realizing God’s hand has been upon her every step of the way through life, she cherishes each day His presence, His Word and the ability to hear His voice. Pastor Nancy has one sibling, Renee.  Pastor Nancy is a licensed minister through the IPHC.

About their family..........After many years of disappointment in not being able to to have a child, God blessed Pastors Donnie and Nancy with their miracle, Cameron.  He is the joy of their life.  He is living proof that the promises of God are unfailing, true and amen!    Pastor Donnie and Nancy are both committed to the ministry and involved in every aspect, lending support to each other in all that is done for the glory of God.   Their desire is to be in His will, doing His work, being used as vessels of God for Kingdom sake.   God has been gracious and merciful to us both in our lives.  We never take for granted His love for us.

Renee does a great job in the ministry of church secretary and treasurer. 

She is dedicated to the cause of Christ as well as the business of the church. 

Joey and Heather Smith are the directors of our Discipleship Ministries (Christian Education) which includes Sunday School, Youth, Children's Ministries, Talent and Youth Quest, Women's Ministries, Men's Ministries, Boys Club, Nursery and more.   They have two children, Dalten and Gavin. 

Join Amy & Justin and the Flame 4:12 Youth each Sunday evening at 6pm. 
Amy and Justin also head up the youthquest and talent quest events as well as plan monthly outings for the youth and special events.

Each Sunday morning during our 11am service, Rob & Meleah Herron provide an exciting biblical time for our children ages 5-10 years of age.  They also provide times for ministry within the church and special plays and musicals.

Melvyne Lord serves as our secretary/treasurer for our Discipleship Ministries.  Melvyne has been part of Cody PHC for many years.
